My Very First Post

Well, I've joined the blog revolution... a little late, but hey, I'm a busy woman. I wasn't sure that I really had enough to say to make reading my thoughts worth anyone's while, but then I decided "Why not? If nothing else, it gives me an outlet for my stress."

Mostly I will probably be talking about my kids, my job and OF COURSE, my knitting. At the moment, I am just creating this to kill time while the twins nap and I'm waiting to take my son to his sleep study appointment this evening. Won't that be fun!

At least I will have time to get some knitting done. I'm going to start on my second Shoalwater Shawl tonight. This time I am doing it in a worsted weight wool that is a mix of blues. I'm actually using two different colors of the same brand, one has darker blues mix with light blues and the other has lighter blues mixed with some purplish blues. I'm going to go back and forth each time I finish a ball and hope it doesn't clash horribly. I don't think it will but you never know until you do it. Right? And, it's a lot of knitting to screw up horribly. In this case though, it is totally worth it. I LOVE this pattern!

So, anyway, bear with me while I figure out what I can and can't do when it comes to doing this blogging thing.
