School is starting soon!

Well, took the kiddos to Troy to meet my friend, Amy, and her son so David could get a haircut. He really, really needed one and it looks great. I'll have to take a pic cuz his hair is usually sticking up all over the place and fuzzy to boot!

We went to Walmart to pick up last minute school supplies. I can't believe school starts the day after tomorrow. The twins first day of preschool will be on Friday. They are going to go Mondays and Fridays this year. They are sooooo excited. I don't know how I'm going to deal with them when David gets on the bus without them on Wednesday. Needless to say, they will be devastated... they've been waiting all summer to be able to ride the "stool bus". :-) (I think they might end up in speech therapy like their mother!)

We ate at the chinese buffet and then went to Amy's for a while. Now, we're home because the girlies were getting overly sensitive. That means nap time for them. For me it means COMPUTER time!

David got a little upset at me at the restaurant. The host asked how old the kids were and I told him David was 10. He's actually 9. I said "Well, your birthday is in October. Close enough!" I hope it fooled him, because truthfully, I forgot he was 9 and really thought he was 10. Bad, Bad Mommy! lol

His specialist appointment is on Monday. Unless they try to cancel it again. Let's all cross our fingers, shall we? I will be taking my log cabin with me. I'll probably even have time to finish it. The appointment is at 1:15 but we have to be there at noon to have some tests done before hand and knowing my luck the doctor will have some sort of emergency and I won't get out of there until 7 pm. Oh well, more time to knit I guess. Wish us luck (we need it). If everything goes well, he will start sleeping normally and no more meds just to get through the school day!
