Long Time... No See
Well, it's been a long time since I posted. For an update, just wanted to let everyone know that I passed my test with flying colors (okay, a little exaggeration but I DID pass:-). Other than that, been working, coming home, working, taking care of kids, working. You get the picture, I'm sure!
Right now I am felting a bag I just worked up. I started it yesterday and finished it this morning... Actually I should go check it! Whew, it's doing okay. I just love to watch things shrink. Felting relieves my need to ruin laundry by making it smaller... Big things, become little things... gotta love that! I used to love to do those Shrinky Dink things when I was a kid. Just call me weird, I can take it. Anyway, here is a pic of the unfelted bag and I will post another after felting once it is dry! Let me know what you think!
Also, yesterday I officially entered my 30s. Yeah, me. I'm soooo excited, can you tell? DH actually got me the Denise Interchangeable Needle set I asked for, which was a shock because normally if I ask for something specific I don't get it. He thinks that ruins the surprise but guess what, I was totally flabbergasted when he gave them to me! Also, I received a pair of diamond stud earrings from him. They are gorgeous! My gram's gave me a quilted tote that is large enough to carry an afghan project in, I'm going to use it as my carry on when I go to Switzerland this October. One of my best friends gave me a glass rose that is really pretty. My dad and stepmom got me a gift certificate for a local (well, semi-local anyway) spa but I can't decide what I want to get with it. Of course, neither one of my brothers called me or anything. I'd be surprised if they actually remembered, honestly. They are such BOYS! Other than that, I had a good birthday. My mom's coming to watch the kids so that DH and I can go to the movies and dinner tonight.

Happy Belated Birthday! 30 isn't all that bad - my mom keeps telling me that the older you get, the better things are. Sounds like your birthday went great!
